Can a Man be a Gold Digger????

Hope you guys are enjoying my blog... I am feeling much better today... all pilled up after seeing the doctor yesterday.. so now to my question... can a man be a gold digger??? yesterday, I was talking my girlfriend and she started telling about her friend who was clearly a gold digger.. hmmm!! I thought and we discussed the topic of a man being a gold digger?? Let me take this question and turn into my business of event planning and dicuss the topic of Men marrying women for money. I will still plan your event with excellence with no regards if you are marry for money or not. NOT my business. I am sure some of you out there have thought about this as well. There are tell tales of men/woman who are gold diggers.. articles says they they have a certain look and demure about them that many cannot see. They are smart, well dressed, young and sexy and they attract the lost souls that are looking for love. Therefore, they go to tanning parlors, internet dating sites, and malls, where ever the money is. Gold digging women tries to dress sexier while the men work on their bodies even harder. Gold diggers only see their nest day and the big bank account. They are not in the relationship or marriage for love. They actually know nothing about LOVE... Tell a gold digger that the bank is closed and see what happens. Oh by the way, a gold digger gives you all the control you need. Beware both male and females who are out there looking for love.... see you next time

An Event Planner work never stops until the event is OVER

Awwww!! gonna tell you about my weekend.... lets start by staying I havent being feeling well but I have work to do.... and God has truly been blessing me. So, I woke up and quickly got myself together .. Saturday morning was my GO SEE venue morning.. awww I love these clients!! they are getting ready to renew their wedding vows and I am too excited to work with them. you may ask... why so excited even when I am sick... #1 I truly love what I do and I cannot, just cannot tell a client that I am too busy, not feeling well (unless I am really really sick) or have to tend to other business etc. I simply make time. So my clients are funky, artsy, cool and just out of the BOX.. and so I am looking forward to planning their wedding. From what I have said, you know it wont be the typical wedding. Will tune you in as I start working with them... oh let me not forget to tell you that their venue is booked, Yes, didnt have to do alot of running around... which would have been ok, if I had to. So while I am on my way to see my new clients.. one of my current client calls... Nerine, I need you to take care of this and take care of that... did I tell you that this wedding is May 2011, yes next month.. so Yes indeed I am busy, still not feeling well ... I said "ok, I will handle". She didnt have a clue that I was tied up that morning and did I tell you that I was having a jewelry party later that day... Yes I was, and I hadnt even shopped for food stuff as yet. Thanks, I have my sister to help me!! I love what I do and I must say, if I wasnt an organize person, I would have been in trouble... but guess what. I make sure my clients are happy at all times. with all that on Saturday... I totally crashed on Sunday..... sick, sick, sick Currently, I am working on two events with a third soon...and I AM LOVING IT. see you next time (www.events@designsofelegancellc.com) artsperiod.com is working on website

Getting Married... who pays for what...

Hello everyone.. so I havent blogged in a while so here I go. .... I am a bit concern and would like to know who makes up this rule.

why does the groom pay for hardly anything.. GO Figure..

The groom pays for: - The marriage license
- The bride’s engagement ring and wedding ring .....(Mr. Groom, this item should be pricey)
- The honeymoon
- A wedding gift for the bride
- The bride’s bouquet
- Gifts for his attendants
- Corsages for the mothers and grandmothers
- Boutonnières for men in the wedding party
- Sometimes accommodation for any out-of-town groomsmen
- Fee for the officiant
